Liquid Culture pre-mix 250 g

Description

This is one of the best recipe to expand your own liquid cultures and spore syringes.

Our mushroom Liquid Culture Pre-Mix contains all of the ingredients required to create your own mycelium liquid culture – just add water!

Water Ratios

•  2 Tbsp or 20g per 500ml of water.

• 100g can make up to 2L of liquid culture (LC).

Let’s sterilise !

• Sterilise for 15 minutes in an autoclave or pressure cooker at 15 psi.
• Before sterilising your Liquid culture media, make sure the marble or stirring bar is within the jar.
• Once sterilisation is complete, allow your jar to cool to room temperature.
• Inoculate the Jar with clean Liquid culture and place it in a dark place for 1-2 weeks to fully colonise.
• The jar must be stirred with a magnetic stirrer for 5 minutes.
• After sterilisation, some sedimentation may be observed at the bottom of the jar. It’s perfectly natural.

How to use your liquid culture pre-mix ?

The liquid culture mix may be utilised in a variety of growing methods. Once your LC mix is ready, you can inject the liquid culture into sterilised grain bags, agar petri dishes, or even another jar containing LC mix to generate more liquid culture.

You may also use it to colonise substrates directly for aggressive strains (like Oysters and Reishi).
