You must collect your order the same week as your purchase. That’s how we guarantee the freshest products.
How payment works ?
Once you have chosen your desired mushrooms and quantity, you will be redirect to the Checkout page, then you can select the payment option of your choice.
Where do I collect the mushrooms ?
Pick up happens directly at the farm. We are located in the heart of the industrial area of Lawson.
The access for collection is through Cataract Street – the section between Livingstone Street and Adeline Street – there will be a mushroom sign to show you where to drive in.
Payment must have been made online before coming to pick up your order.
How do I store the mushrooms ?
Mushrooms need to be stored in the fridge as soon as you go back home. They can handle being 2-3 hours outside of the fridge if you don’t go back home directly after the collection.
Mushrooms should be eaten in the next 3 days to have the best experience.
It’s important to cover them up by putting them in a box or a paper bag, otherwise they will dry out in a few days.
Plastic containers with a sealed lid are a good option to make them last longer as the moisture will stay in the box.
Pink and Yellow oyster (summer strains) need to be eaten in the next 2-3 days as they don’t last as long as other oyster varieties.
Do I need to wash the mushrooms ?
Because our mushrooms don’t grow on dirt, they don’t need to be washed before cooking.
We grow mushrooms on a sterile substrate made of sawdust and soybean pellets, free of chemicals.
